CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO)

Stephen has over 20 years of experience working with oral communities and telling God’s stories. He loves to help leaders and churches engage with theology in ways that increase their faith and understanding.

CHIEF STRATEGY OFFICER (CSO)

As a certified Bible translation consultant, Tricia helps ensure the trustworthiness of Word Collective’s products and training. She is passionate about removing barriers to people fully engaging with God’s Word, and has worked in church planting, trauma healing, and Bible translation.

CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER (COO)

Mike brings more than 20 years of experience as a family ministry pastor and operations director to Word Collective. He is excited to help support an amazing group of people who are working towards bringing the Word of God to many different parts of the world.

CHIEF PRAYER OFFICER (CPO)

Gilly has years of experience heading up and serving in pastoral care and prayer ministry in her local church. She has a background in social work. Gilly loves to see people surrender their hearts to the love of Jesus.

DIRECTOR, TRAINING TEAM

Danis has over 20 years of experience working with nonprofits in training and community mobilization. He has skills in organizational development, especially in helping start-ups take off, gain stability, and achieve their mission. Danis is an experienced trainer in various fields and in diverse cultures. He is actively involved in pastoral ministry and longs to see the church equipped to take God’s word to all nations.

DIRECTOR, MULTIPLYING HOPE

Karen brings over 20 years of experience in social services and cross-cultural ministry, including serving as a hospice counselor, working in the non-profit sector, and living in South Asia for several years. She has encountered God’s grace and healing in her own life and considers it an honor to walk alongside those seeking to multiply His healing and hope in their own lives and to those around them.

DIRECTOR, RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT

Andy has over 30 years of experience in church leadership and church planting, primarily among unreached people. He is passionate about communicating the biblical story in ways that overcome cultural and language barriers.

DIRECTOR, DEAF MINISTRIES

Jenny has taught deaf children, holds a Master degree in Deaf Education, and has worked as a trainer for church-based Bible translators since 2023. She seeks to serve global Deaf communities by helping evolve training curriculums and resource materials for Word Collective.

DIRECTOR, NORTHERN AND EASTERN AFRICA

Sebuh has pastored, taught, trained, and mentored various communities in his home country of Ethiopia and neighboring countries for 25 years. Along with his wife, Abeba, his vision is to provide the gospel in the native tongues of his community and others around them so that people can learn about God and find salvation.

DIRECTOR, NORTHERN AND EASTERN AFRICA & DIRECTOR, ADDIS TESFA CHARITY ORGANIZATION

Abeba has witnessed, taught, trained, and mentored various communities in her home country of Ethiopia and neighboring countries for 18 years. She enjoys meeting new people, building relationships, and helping those in need.

DIRECTOR, MIDDLE EAST

Nancy worked among diverse cultural backgrounds in the business world before experiencing God’s healing for herself and beginning to share that healing with others through trauma-informed strategy and training. Nancy lives out God’s calling for her life by walking with others through trauma and toward transformation.

SENIOR UI/UX DESIGNER AND FULL-STACK DEVELOPER

Brian has served in ministry-focused design and development roles since 2007, and has a heart for making Scripture accessible in creative and culturally relevant ways. With a rare blend of programming expertise, design sensibility, and visual storytelling skills, he brings together technology, artistry, and strategy in service of the global Church.

SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER, CREATIVE MEDIA AND COMMUNICATIONS

Holly has over 20 years of experience in nonprofit program and project management. Along the way she went to seminary and God led her to serve in Bible translation, with a particular emphasis in oral Bible translation and storytelling. She loves to bring the Word of God to life through biblical performance.

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER, TESTING AND MEAL SYSTEMS

Elsa uses her experience in international development and her years living and working in cross-cultural environments to oversee Word Collective’s monitoring, assessment, and testing strategies. She is passionate about ensuring everything Word Collective does is effective and based on feedback from those we serve.

CONTENT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Tom is an ethnodoxologist who brings over 30 years of cross-cultural mission work to Word Collective. He is a Doctor of Worship Studies candidate at Liberty University. His passion is to make God’s Word and worship accessible to everyone.

MEMBER CARE PROVIDER

Megan has used her Masters degree in Biblical Counseling to work as a counselor in churches for over 7 years. She desires to offer care and support to the Word Collective team and establish a culture of emotional health and authentic community that will strengthen churches around the world.

ASSOCIATE, ARABIC SPEAKING COMMUNITIES

Angela is an interpreter from the Middle East who began facilitating trauma healing trainings in high-risk areas after experiencing healing from her own trauma. She loves what she does and believes it’s an honor to walk alongside others as they heal and to witness hope take root in the hardest places.

After working for 25 years in HR and the corporate world, Lucy brings a wealth of people-focused experience to her role at Word Collective. She counts it a real privilege to be part of a ministry that seeks to serve God and others in a meaningful way.

PROJECT MANAGER

Valerie is a worship leader, ministry professional, and project manager who works as a project administrator and content developer for Word Collective. She is driven by a love for helping others encounter Jesus through music and ministry.

ORAL EXEGETICAL CONTENT DEVELOPER

Emily brings her research skills to her work creating content that describes the cultural, linguistic, and theological context for Scripture. God developed in her a love for His Word, for storying, and for writing, and brought her to a place where she can use the abilities He gave her to further His kingdom.

PROJECT ASSISTANT

Jessica brings 20 years of experience in administration and domiciliary care to her role at Word Collective. She takes pride in contributing to work that makes a meaningful impact around the world.

TRANSLATION CONSULTANT AND TRAINER

Titus is a committed churchman who combines linguistic expertise, advanced theological study, and years of cross-cultural experience in his work of building up the Church.  He considers it an honor to be a fellow-servant of pastors and translators as they labor to give their congregations a sound scriptural foundation.

Amanda B. has a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics and brings that experience to her work with Word Collective. She and her husband enjoy long summers, family, friends, and their cats.

EMERITUS, DIRECTOR LATIN AMERICA

Janice has served as a missionary, directed an ESL program, led service trips, and authored books. Since 2018, she has led trauma healing, story crafting, and church planting trainings throughout the world.

CONSULTANT, PRAYER STRATEGY

Linda served as a missionary for over 25 years and continued to mentor churches and ministries after retirement. Along with her husband, Brian, Linda consults on the prayer strategies that sustain Word Collective.
