Janice Utterback is Director of Latin America and Ukraine, and has led trauma healing, story crafting and church planting trainings in various parts of the world since 2018. She has served on the leadership team since 2020 and has been involved in writing curriculum. She is currently serving 14 countries in Latin America where more than 200 trauma-healing groups have been completed.

Janice holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, and Visually Impaired Education including a social work specialty of Orientation and Mobility of the Blind from Stephen F. Austin State University, a master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education, and Bilingual/English as a Second Language (ESL) from Georgia State University. Janice served in Argentina and Paraguay from 1979 to 1984, and she has since led more than 30 service trips across the world. She has taught students from pre-school to college and served as Director of ESL at FBCGarland for over eight years. Janice and Bob live in Dallas and have been married for 40 years. They have four daughters, an adopted son and daughter, and nine grandchildren.
